Social Responsibility Policy Statement 2024 / 2025

All employees and contractors of Echo Seismic Ltd. and its affiliates (the “Corporation”) understand that social responsibility is an integral part of operations, and that social responsibility must be maintained through the goal of making positive contributions to local communities, respecting local culture and the rights of individuals, and promoting and maintaining honesty, integrity, and high ethical standards.

Management will work to achieve a high level of Social Responsibility through partnership and open dialog with local populations within the various countries and communities where the Corporation conducts business. Concern for the welfare of local communities and quality of life is an integral part of the way in which the Corporation operates. The Corporation recognizes that social responsibility is a responsibility held collectively by government, industry, and individuals and that contributions to local communities and responsible management are the foundations of sustainable development.

Management is responsible and accountable for upholding the Corporate Social Responsibility Policy. All employees and contractors must consider Social Responsibility in all their activities and intervene when these goals are compromised.

To ensure compliance with this Policy, management, employees, and contractors must:

  • Maintain compliance with all laws, applicable legislation, and regulatory requirements of the host country.
  • Develop open and constructive relationships with local law enforcement agencies, officials, regulatory agencies, customers, institutions, and communities in the areas where the Corporation conducts business activities.
  • Ensure that all employees and contractors are aware of the Corporation’s commitment to social responsibility.
  • Maintain high ethical standards throughout all interactions with local communities.
  • Communicate business activities to the local communities, considering local customs.
  • Identify, in partnership with local communities, social projects where the Corporation can make a positive contribution.

These may include but are not limited to:

    • Personal and community health support.
    • Local infrastructure and access to sustainable energy and water supplies.
    • Local education and support primary schools for all.
    • Sustainable community led projects.
  • Allocate necessary resources to fulfill this Policy.
  • Manage projects in such a way that community expectations are met by:
    • Defining clear objectives and promising only what can realistically be achieved and delivered.
    • Maintaining agreed schedules.
    • Sharing knowledge and building of trust.
  • Perform regular audits of all Corporate activities, using these results to drive continuous improvements.

 

All personnel working for or on behalf of Echo Seismic Ltd. and its affiliates have the responsibility for achieving specific objectives that work to support this Policy.
